Its actions on the CNS may also cause someof this medicines side effects. * Cyclobenzaprine may also be used for other conditions as determinedby your doctor.
Who should not takecyclobenzaprine? * Do not take cyclobenzaprine if you - have recently(within the last 6 weeks) had a heart attack, - have irregularheartbeats, - have a heartblock, - have heartconduction disturbance, - have congestiveheart failure, or - havehyperthyroidism that is not under control. * Before taking this medication, tell your doctorif you have - urinary retentionor - narrow-angleglaucoma or increased intraocular pressure (pressure inside the eye). * You may need a lower dose or special monitoringduring treatment if you have any of the conditions listed above. * Cyclobenzaprine is in the FDA pregnancy B. Thismeans that it is unlikely to harm an unborn baby. Do not takecyclobenzaprine without first talking to your doctor if you arepregnant. * It is not known whether cyclobenzaprine passesinto breast milk. Do not take cyclobenzaprine without first talking toyour doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby.
How should I takecyclobenzaprine? * Flexeril may be taken with or without food. * Flexeril should be used only for short periods (no more than 3weeks).
